🎤 Tom Watson, Senior Software Engineer @ FL0
Talk: Supercharging Billing Efficiency with ClickHouse
Summary: How FL0 leverages Clickhouse to power its billing pipelines, and how we did so with minimum pain and cost, without compromising on correctness!
Speaker Bio: Tom is a Sydney based Rust developer at FL0, with a background in maths and statistics. He has previously worked as a data scientist and engineer in Investment, Advertising and Legal Tech. Outside of work he enjoys skiing, electronic music and being bad at Soulslike games.

Talk: Unlocking the Power of Real-Time Data: A Journey through Command vs Event Driven Architectures
Summary: This talk will take you through a journey to explore the differences between Command vs Event Driven Architectures.
Speaker Bio: Johnny is a Staff Solutions Engineer at Confluent, specialising in data analytics and building stream-based event-driven architectures. With a background in solutions engineering, he’s experienced in architecting and enabling solutions for enterprise clients in the telecommunications, media, insurance, and financial services sectors.
Johnny has a high level of expertise of integration between both public cloud and on-premise infrastructure, while focussing on service assurance, monitoring platforms, and open-source technologies. Johnny is dedicated to enabling clients to extract valuable insights from big data sources in near real-time.

🎤 Ananth Gundabattula, Co-founder @ Darwinium
Talk: Darwinium and Clickhouse: Building an Analytical System of Record to Unify Digital Security with Fraud Prevention
Summary: This talk will summarize various design patterns that were adopted while building Darwinium’s data stack using Clickhouse. In particular, it will cover solving problems related to unifying intelligence related to multiple use cases, latencies at scale, emerging patterns for offline feature engineering and how to build a cost optimized and a privacy aware solution using Clickhouse.
Speaker Bio: Ananth is a cofounder of Darwinium, a next generation continuous customer protection platform. Darwinium brings security, fraud and customer experience into harmony. Darwinium is a new approach to customer interaction, designed to delight not insult, detect not disable and automate not overload. It is security and protection at scale, with low-touch integration and immediate control. He is currently building the data platform catering to search, machine learning training and analytics at Darwinium.

Talk: Security in ClickHouse Cloud
Summary: A quick walk through on security features in ClickHouse Cloud and how we protect customers' data so you can build things with confidence.
Bio: Application Security Engineer at ClickHouse who previously spent 10+ years in penetration testing in government, banking and startups before spending the last 5 years securing SaaS platforms.
