July 1 Friday : Reach Manali (2050 m ).

July 2 Saturday : Manali to Chikha (3000 m)

July 3 Sunday : Chikha to Balu ka Ghera ( 3540 m)

July 4 Monday : Balu ka Ghera to Base of Hampta Pass ( 3900 m)

July 5 Tuesday : Base of Hampta Pass to Hampta Pass ( 4270 m) to Siliguri (3750 m)

July 6 Wednesday : Siliguri to Chatru (3360 m) to Chandratal ( 4270 m)

July 7 Thursday : Chandratal to Tokpo Yongma (4420 m)

July 8 Friday : Tokpo Yongma to Tokpo Gongma ( 4650 m)

July 9 Saturday : Tokyo Gongma to Baralacha La (4950 m) to Manali

July 10 Sunday: Depart from Manali

As per Lonely Planet both Hampta Pass and Chandra Tal Baralacha La are moderate treks and best when done together. The trek starts from green Beas valley of Manali and crosses over snowy Hampta Pass to the green Lahaul valley. Then we drive to Chandratal and move on towards the barren lands of Lahaul which is more like Ladakh. If we cross over the Hampta Pass on July 4 instead of camping below pass, then we have a rest day in Chandratal to better acclimatize.

This is a long duration and moderate trek and needs prior trekking experience and involves long walks and river crossings. You should be physically in good shape to join.
