[ONLINE OPTION] Climate Week Pop-up Quiz Show Volunteer meeting
Details
Climate & Technology Victoria is proud to reach out on behalf of the RUSH Initiative in search of volunteers to support a local climate resilience pop-up quiz show running during National Climate Week (November 23 - 29th).
Volunteers will be sent out to local events / public spaces, armed with small prizes and knowledge to pose a series of 5x questions to willing participants that will help the public engage in a meaningful way with the RUSH map, building rapid resilience in our community.
The ultimate goal of this initiative is to quickly spool up community lead climate resilience projects (e.g. improving green space continuity, managing urban heat, cultivating Indigenous plants, building pollinator gardens, engaging in rain garden mapping, etc.).
Commitment
We are asking volunteers to commit to a 1.5-hr training session on November 21st, 1x pop-up event during climate week (2-4 hours), and material drop off / data submittal the following week. There are two training session options on the 21st of November:
- Online | Friday November 21st 2-3:30pm online meeting link - Add To Your Calendar
- (Coordination of material pickup required after meeting Friday Evening / Saturday Morning @theDock)
- In Person | Friday November 21st 5-6:30pm @theDock - Add To Your Calendar
