Eating Our Way To a Healthy Planet - Lake Oswego Popup
Details
Climate Café is popping up in Lake Oswego on Saturday, November 12, with an umami planet-based menu to satisfy body and soul, followed by a heart-stirring screening and discussion of the British documentary "Eating Our Way To Extinction". For the main course, we've partnered with Fermenter restaurant in Portland to feature their locally made Lentil Tempeh and Ruby Sauerkraut in our open-faced veggie Rueben, served on wheat-free bread alongside a seasonal mushroom soup, salad, and sweets.
This meal is a gift to you from the earth, farmers, chefs and Climate Café volunteers. Invite a friend and donate what you can if you feel inspired. Donations will support future popups and our dream of opening a permanent Portland area Climate Café, serving earth-friendly food on a continuing gift economy basis.
