October Climate/Environment Movie Club - The Bay

Hi climate/movie friends!

In light of spooky season, we're going to watch a haunting ecological horror (eco-horror) found footage movie this October called The Bay. Short synopsis below:

Ecological disaster befalls a coastal Maryland town after a chicken farm pollutes the Chesapeake Bay with toxins, causing something terrifying to sicken the residents. The story is told through "found footage" collected by a reporter named Donna, who documents the horror inflicting the town.

Please watch the movie *before* joining the meeting and come ready to discuss.

The movie is free to watch on Tubi and available to rent for $3.99 on YouTube, Google Play, Amazon Prime and Apple TV. Make sure you watch the right movie, since there are one or two other releases with the same title.
