What is an ecological footprint? Is that the same as a carbon footprint? What is the relationship between ecological footprint and ecological overshoot? What's your ecological footprint? What is Australia's ecological footprint?

We'll be exploring these questions and more in this learning circle session.

What is a learning circle?
A learning circle is a group of curious individuals who come together to learn something and make friends. We ask each other questions, seek out answers, and share what we find with others. There is no 'font of all knowledge' teacher, just a facilitator who will be learning along with you.

What do you mean by 'climate crisis'?
We're using 'climate crisis' as a catch-all term for the numerous impending social, economic, and ecological crises. Terms like climate change, ecological overshoot, the metacrisis, food insecurity, the polycrisis, global warming etc all fall under our 'climate crisis' umbrella term.
