### Micro and Nano Plastics: Impact on Environment, Human Health, and Climate

Date: September 12, 2025;Time: 6:00–7:00 PM ESTLocation: Online (Zoom link provided after registration)

#### Discover the hidden dangers of micro- and nano-plastics, tiny fragments that have silently infiltrated our ecosystem, food chains, and even human bodies. This event, presented by Creative Society volunteers, is grounded in scientific research and inspired by a compelling documentary produced in partnership with the ALLATRA International Public Movement.

  • Invisible Pollution: Micro- and nano-plastics are now everywhere, from the depth of Mariana Trench to the peak of Mount Everest, contaminating the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the water we drink.
  • Health at Risk: These particles infiltrate human cells and vital organs, causing DNA damage, inflammation, and disruption to various organ systems, including the nervous, cardiovascular, and reproductive systems.
  • Planetary Threat: Beyond human health, these tiny plastics intensify ocean warming, alter precipitation patterns, reduce agricultural yields, and threaten global stability.
  • Race Against Time: Without urgent innovation and international cooperation, plastic pollution will evolve from an environmental crisis into a civilizational tipping point.

#### The event will conclude with a live Q&A session, giving you the chance to ask questions and discuss actionable solutions.

  1. Stay informed about a rapidly escalating environmental and health issue that affects everyone.
  2. Engage with the latest scientific research and real-world solutions.
  3. Connect with a global community committed to positive change.
