The Truth About Love Nobody Taught Us
Details
Love is one of the most celebrated—and misunderstood—experiences in human life. We seek it, write songs about it, build relationships around it, and yet many of us struggle with attachment, jealousy, loneliness, and unmet expectations.
In this interactive workshop, we'll explore love from two complementary perspectives. First, we'll look at what modern psychology tells us about love through well-known theories such as the Triangular Theory of Love, Attachment Theory, and contemporary research on relationships. We'll understand why attraction begins, why it changes over time, and why many relationships succeed or fail.
Then we'll move beyond psychology into a deeper philosophical inquiry.
- Is love merely an emotion or a need?
- Can dependency, possession, or loneliness ever become love?
- What is the difference between attachment and genuine love?
- Is real love possible only when the mind is free?
This session is not about giving relationship advice or dating tips. It is an invitation to question our assumptions about love and discover whether what we usually call "love" is actually love at all.
Whether you're single, in a relationship, or simply curious about understanding yourself better, this workshop offers an opportunity to reflect, discuss, and explore one of life's most profound questions:
What does it really mean to love?
