New River Trail State Park Gravel Ride

We're looking to beat the heat by riding the New River Trail (Gravel). Temperatures are forecasted to be in the 70's at the start. Hopefully, still in the low 80's when we finish. Average will be around 14 mph.

Start at the New River Trail State Park in Galax, VA (at the caboose). Note: there is a $7 parking fee per vehicle. It's self service, so you want to bring the exact amount.

Ride to Fries and back. It should be about 35 miles.
