This sounds like an exciting Rails to Trails ride across Missouri. I'm going and it would be great to have a NC contingency on Big Bam Ride.
Fully supported, ride the Iconic KATY Trail, the longest “Rail-Trail” in the Country. Explore Missouri in a way like never before. The ride takes you through pastoral farmland, meadows full of wildflowers, and majestic forests, and explores charming small towns. Ride alongside the Missouri River for long stretches, see the same Native American pictographs Lewis and Clark saw, and discover the charming old river towns along the way.
Fully supported ride, Daily miles are about 34 mile, 1 day will be 49 miles.
