Welcome to Clipping Roots and Crafting Bonsai Jams. This group is a place for bonsai enthusiasts of all experience levels to get together, work on our trees, and share techniques in a relaxed, informal setting. Whether you have a collection you have been nurturing for years or just picked up your first nursery stock, you are welcome to pull up a chair.
The idea is simple: we meet up with our tools, wire, and trees, and spend a few hours pruning, shaping, and troubleshooting our projects side-by-side. It is not a formal class or a rigid lecture series, but rather a space for us to learn from one another, trade advice on soil mixes and styling, and enjoy the company of others who appreciate the patience required for this hobby.
