Hi Everyone,

Typically our monthly General Meetings are in-person but this month we’ll be meeting over Zoom and hearing from guest speaker Greg Nelson, a resident and cofounder of White Hawk Ecovillage, an intentional community in NY that consists of 18 completed homes on 120 acres, with two farms, some forested areas, and a lot of gardening and household-scale food production.

As one of our many EVNJ group trips over the past two years, a group of us visited White Hawk a couple years ago and had a great experience!

Greg will describe the history & background of White Hawk, he’ll then discuss their efforts and increasing focus on building food resilience, and he’ll also discuss with us the topic of Climate Safe Villages.
The Mission of Climate Safe Villages (CSV) is to form climate change resilient and sustainable communities worldwide.
