What we’re about

Clogging is the original American folk dance, descended from Irish/Scottish dancing and developed in the hills of Kentucky and Tennessee. Clog dancing is a type of folk dance in which the dancer's shoes percussively hit the floor by striking the heel and/or toe creating rhythms usually to the downbeat of many different genres of music. Modern clogging includes dancing to pop or rock music in addition to traditional country/western. Clogging is great aerobic exercise taught and led by our expert and patient "cuer," John Habash. In addition to being fun exercise, clogging provides the opportunity to meet friendly people of all ages!
