Worst-case optimal join in Clojure (Finn Völkel)
Most mainstream database systems these days are using binary joins. In the last decade there have been some interesting developments in the theory of join algorithms. Worst-case optimal join (WCOJ) algorithms give some guarantees on the runtime of a join based on the output size of a query. We are going to see what WCOJ is and how one could implement it in Clojure.
