Remote Presentation - Agility & Robustness: Clojure spec w/ Stuart Halloway

  • Nov 3, 2016 · 6:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

This talk will show you how to use Clojure and the new spec library to write programs that behave as expected, meet operational requirements, and have the flexibility to accommodate change. We will also discuss how developing with spec is declarative, predicative, layered and robust.

This is a live remote, interactive presentation where we will have time for questions. We will start in a timely manner.

Stuart Halloway is a founder and President of Cognitect, Inc. He is a Clojure committer, and a developer of the Datomic database. Stuart has spoken at a variety of industry events, including StrangeLoop, Clojure/conj, EuroClojure, ClojureWest, SpeakerConf, QCon, GOTO, OSCON, RailsConf, RubyConf, JavaOne, and NFJS. Stuart has written a number of books and technical articles. Of these, he is most proud of Programming Clojure.

If this is recorded remotely, is there any chance you can share a link or something so we can watch it from home or share it with friends who don't live in the area?

I'd love to go, but I have a prior engagement. Will it be recorded or can we get Stuart to post his notes online?
