Datomic intro with the Clojure REPL

Details

Have you ever heard someone talk passionately about Clojure and Datomic? In this talk, we will show the combination of elements that make Datomic effective for solving problems and creating robust systems.

Datomic is a general-purpose distributed database. With the "accumulate-only" property you can create time-aware systems, scale reads horizontally, and have an ACID transactional process. We will review the semantics, its architecture, and how it works together with Clojure. We will also show live code examples in the "REPL" and leave space for questions and open discussion.

By the end of the talk, you will feel comfortable writing queries in Datalog and have learned a different way of using a database.
