SESSION 1 · RALPH ECKHARD · 18:00–18:45
From Gate to Cloud: Lessons from Deploying Windows 365 in a Dutch Airline
In this session, we’re taking our desktops to the clouds—literally!
Join us as we share the real-world journey of deploying Windows 365 Cloud PCs across a Dutch airline. From infrastructure and licensing quirks to unexpected use cases and business wins, we’ll walk you through what worked, what didn’t, and what we wish we’d known from the start.
Expect practical tips, licensing insights, and a candid look at how different teams—from flight ops to finance—are using Cloud PCs to stay productive and secure. Whether you're planning your first deployment or scaling up, this session will help you avoid turbulence and land smoothly.

SESSION 2 · GERJON KUNST · 19:30–20:15
Your Agent Is Live. Now the Real Work Starts: Day-Two Lessons from Real AI Deployments
Building an AI agent has never been easier. Running one in production is a different story. Once the demo is done and users start relying on it, new questions arrive. Is it actually delivering value? Why did the token bill double last month? Which model should it run on, and should it run in the cloud at all?
This session shares the unpolished story of several AI agents built for real customers on Microsoft Foundry, Power Automate, Copilot Studio and Teams. The examples include a pipeline that analyses every inbound support call, a voice agent that interviews salespeople and writes their meeting reports, and an intake process that transcribes Frisian and pushes results into a DMS with no API. For each one you'll see the architecture, what worked, what broke, and what we would do differently.
From there we go into day two along three axes:
- Value: measuring real KPIs, and what happens when users learn to game the system.
- Cost: token economics, rate limits, and budgeting when pricing is variable and exposed to geopolitics.
- Control: evaluating and swapping models, and choosing between cloud, hybrid and local inference while staying EU-compliant.
Expect live demos, real numbers, and lessons learned the hard way. No hype.
Key takeaways
- A day-two checklist for any agent heading to production
- A practical way to calculate and control cost per transaction
- A decision framework for model choice and where your AI should run
