ML at the Edge With Coral & TensorFlow Lite

Details

ML at the edge has emerged as an important theme in the IoT community, and for good reason. As more products and devices become smarter through ML capabilities, decisions will need to be made to optimally leverage the computational and network resources of the devices, gateways, on premise data centers and the cloud. Additionally, some regulatory concerns make it difficult to leverage ML in the cloud, so extending these capabilities to the edge opens up new opportunities.

At TensorFlow Dev Summit last month, Google debuted a new Edge TPU device that brings ML inferencing to existing systems.

At tonight’s meetup, we will demonstrate how such devices, coupled with TensorFlow Lite, make it possible to run high performance inference at the edge, enabling some amazing new experiences!
