Training Session by Official AWS + Presentations on Cloud Migration & LevelUp!

Hey Cloudy folks! Hope you all had a great summer as we are back!
Buckle up as AWS is going to train us during this meetup session. We will then learn how to migrate legacy stuff to the cloud, and finally understand how we can bring the community to the cloud side! Here's a breakdown:

1. Trainers from AWS Herndon: This meetup we will be featuring guest speakers from Amazon Web Services who will deliver a training on introductory cloud computing topics, the first in a series starting this month.

Zachary Kelly, Practice Manager, and Diwakar Puthalapat, Cloud Infrastructure Architect from AWS, will be speaking on:
"CREATE & HOST A WEBSITE ON THE CLOUD USING MINIMUM EFFORT AND COST"

2. "Cloud Migration: Lessons Learned"
   Phil B., a Project Manager from a large local company discusses his experience with cloud migration.
   He wants to answer some basic questions like

• Why migrate to the cloud?
• What culture changes/costs/strategies are needed?
• How do you do it?
• Where do you do it?
• When do you do it?
  ...and much more!

3. LevelUp Into The Cloud:
   In addition to speakers from AWS, we shall be continuing our LevelUp series that started back in June.
   Broadus Palmer from LinuxAcademy.com will discuss switching to a career in computing from about any other industry - whether you have zero years of experience in Tech or 10.

Food, drinks, networking:
As always, we will be networking with the brilliant Charlottesville tech community and serving food and drinks! Come join and bring your friends!

Location is right across Midici's Pizza in Stonefield. There's plenty of free parking all over the place and our venue is accessible friendly. The AC will be cranked up and if you all have any special needs, please comment below!
