"What is Chaos Engineering" Co-Hosted meetup with Chaos-Sydney.

Details

For our first meetup we are going to be running it with the Chaos engineering Sydney Meetup. It is focused on the idea of building for failure and how to create resiliency in cloud architecture through testing not just dev but production environments. This is going to be a brilliant talk to start getting your head around a core cloud computing concept.

"What is Chaos Engineering, I hear you ask. I had this same thought. I knew of The Netflix Simian Army, and AWS best practice, Build for Failure, but didn’t know that Chaos was now an engineering discipline. This is my research and my attempt to answering my own question about what Chaos Engineering is and how it can be used to ensure your team and systems are prepared for scenarios you hadn’t thought of." -Greg Cockburn (AWS Cloud Warrior and Bulletproof Head of Cloud practice)

This is really an introduction to Chaos engineering it's appropriate for skill levels from 100-right up to 300 level. So don't be afraid to come along and get some learnings. ==========================================================
