Cloud Cost Optimisation & FinOps Community event

Hi all,

Hopefully, you have all had a relaxing break over the Christmas and New Year period. A new year often brings the desire to kickstart activities, and why not reinvigorate your Cloud Cost Optimisation journey and attend the next Cloud Cost Optimisation & FinOps Community event.

We had several events in 2023 that were well attended and have now scheduled our first event for 2024, with the event to be held on Wednesday 13th of March from 5pm hosted at Workspace365 Level 5/20 Bond Street, Sydney NSW 2000.

Like all previous Cloud Cost Optimisation & FinOps Community events, this event will include:

• Presentations from community members, sharing their real-life experiences and insights
• An interactive Q&A session with like-minded group members for you to pose your burning questions and help answer the questions of others
• Networking and drinks! Connect with others, share insights, tips/tricks and lessons learned when it comes to the topic

We are always looking for community members to present, and topics to be presented, that will drive the conversation among the group. This event will include the presentations on the topics:

• Effective cost saving tips and tricks used by a Manager of Cloud Infrastructure who reduced ongoing annual cloud spend by US$1M
• Unlocking Cloud cost efficiencies, Navigating Challenges & Initiatives from a FinOps Practitioner

We’re looking forward to discussing the topic of Cloud Cost Optimisation and FinOps further, and we welcome people of all levels of industry knowledge and experience.
