In this session, I explore how the Model Context Protocol (MCP) enables a new way for AI agents to securely and intelligently interact with Microsoft Fabric.

You’ll see how MCP servers expose Power BI semantic models and Fabric data agents as discoverable tools, allowing agents to reason over enterprise data, query it in natural language, act on top of it and edit semantic models for Power BI.

I will walk through real scenarios where data agents and Power BI models become first-class citizens in agent workflows, unlocking more contextual, trustworthy, and scalable AI experiences across the Fabric ecosystem.
