Oana Turbatu, Feature Engineer - Data Lake & Razvan Socol - Chapter Lead - Data Lake @ ING Hubs Romania will provide an overview of ING's journey towards a collaborative data platform. Many organisations keep their data in silos, with different ways of managing it. Silos make data available to particular groups, but accessing it organisation-wide can be time consuming and challenging. ING’s transition from a replicated model to a modern data platform - where information is widely available to be explored - is the focus of this talk. Insights derived from such platforms feed into improving customer relationships and inform the development of new and meaningful business product

Dragos Cioata, Cloud Data Engineer @ Adore Me Tech will showcase Adore Me’s Self Service Data Marketplace. How do you scale data operations in a growing organisation without overwhelming the data engineers? Dragos will show how a data marketplace paradigm democratises data sharing and consumption amongst all business and engineering teams, while maintaining coherency, quality, low latency, and low lead times for new integrations.
