3. Cloud Native Computing Linz Meetup - November 24, 2020

We are excited to host the third edition of the Cloud Native Computing Linz meetup!

--------- The Speakers ---------

• Malte Menkhoff works as a Solutions Architect at Kubermatic. In this role he is supporting prospects and customers during the planning, evaluation and successful implementation of Kubermatic Kubernetes Platform and KubeOne for the management of containers. Before he has joined Kubermatic Malte was working in several positions in the Solution Architect space, product management as well portfolio management in the IT for more than 15 years. Some stops have been Red Hat, Canonical, Ericsson with lastly Broadcom. His passion for solving problems with Open Source tools in certain range of use in combination with a long lasting experience in several verticals brings him in a position to act as a trusted advisors for our customers to introduce and extend their container solutions over the whole lifecycle.
• Juliano Costa is a software engineer who loves learning new things. In the last 2 years he has put his efforts into cloud technologies and got super excited about Cloud Native Computing, which made him start a CNC Meetup group together with a colleague. Juliano believes that through certifications you can learn more in-depth about the technologies related, and that's how he became CKA, Dynatrace Certified Professional, and OCA Java SE 8 Programmer I in the last couple of years.
• Yuri Oliveira holds a couple of IT certifications like CKA, CKAD, DCA, Linux+. Currently working as a Cloud Engineer at Douglas, he is focused on migrations from on-premises to cloud environments, always considering the power of cloud-native applications.
  With more than 10 years of experience in Infrastructure, he has been involved with projects in important companies from the supply-chain sector.

Malte Menkhoff - KubeOne for Beginners

Malte will cover why KubeOne is the right tool to automate operations of a single Kubernetes cluster on your chosen cloud, on-prem or edge environment with best practice cluster installation, full lifecycle management packed up by business critical support.
He will present and demonstrate how to deploy and scale a high available Kubernetes cluster on any infrastructure to pilot your first Kubernetes project with the focus to automate daily operations in an elegant way.
