Speaker Bio
Konstantin Diener is CTO at cosee. He has been developing software for more than 20 years. His CTO role made him shift his focus to (agile) leadership topics and to Product Management lately. Nowadays he's mainly interested in building the right products by using Product Discovery techniques. Konstantin speaks at conferences and was author of „DevOps Stories“, a column about culture, leadership, agile and DevOps.

One API to rule them all: Manage Kubernetes Clusters the Kubernetes way

containers. Your compute? Kubernetes clusters, of course. Problem solved – almost. While the Kubernetes APIs are so useful, the clusters
themselves require a different set of management tools, which duplicates workflows, and disrupts the declarative harmony that you've worked so hard to build.
Enter Cluster API: Manage Kubernetes clusters the Kubernetes way. With
CAPI, you can use a declarative interface to manage the lifecycle of
entire clusters and simplify operations by treating clusters just like
any other resource Kubernetes can manage. This talk will show you

• Cluster API's key concepts and CRDs,
• a bird's eye view of how it's installed and used
• and how it separates clusters from infrastructure, preparing you for hipster things like hybrid-cloud.

Speaker Bio
Tom has a decade of experience in Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies. He has played a key role in helping multiple organizations
to get their hands on cloud-native capabilities. Modernizing SDLC
processes and operations has been a cornerstone of his career, with a
focus on improving developer experience. At Mirantis, Tom is a member of the k0s team. He's all about making this Kubernetes distribution better, with a mission to make Kubernetes truly zero friction.
