Fantastic Workflows and where to find them - a Fullstaq Meetup

Details
On June 4th it's time for another Fullstaq Meetup! We'll come together in Amsterdam to talk about workflows for Kubernetes. Bas Bremer will discuss Kargo, a tool he has been trying out recently in addition to ArgoCD, a tool used for continuous deployment. During his presentation, Bas will talk about his experiences with Kargo, and how it fits (or doesn't) with ArgoCD and he'll give us a short demo! Rio Kierkels will talk about Task, a task runner written in GO, that aims to be simple and easy to use. Lastly, Menno will discuss how ArgoCD can help you get the most out of your Kubernetes workflow. All in all, a Meetup you don't want to miss!

My first experience with Kargo - Bas Bremer
To stay up-to-date with new tooling, Bas enjoys experimenting with various tools. One of Bas's colleagues mentioned Kargo as a new tool. Kargo is described as a next-generation continuous delivery and application lifecycle orchestration platform for Kubernetes. He sees this as a valuable addition to ArgoCD, which he frequently uses. During his talk, Bas will share his experience with Kargo and give a short demo. More information about Kargo can be found on the website: https://kargo.akuity.io/
Tasks to rule them all - Rio Kierkels
Rio Kierkels will talk about Task, a local task runner that streamlines workflows both in your development environment and CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI. Task is ideal for users who find bash scripting too limited but a full programming language too complex. It offers a flexible and modular approach to streamline interactions and enhance both local development and CI workflows.
Streamlining Research Processes: The Role of Argo Workflows in Data Research - Menno Sanders
Menno Sanders will take you on a journey of automating workflows harnessing all the power that Kubernetes gives you. He'll talk about his experiences of setting it up for use at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, running research workloads and exploring other potential uses of this powerful automation system.
Registration is via our other Meetup page!
