Logs can be stored efficiently and cost effective by only indexing the metadata. Loki learned what works from Prometheus and applied it to logs.

Michel is a software engineer in the Loki team at Grafana Labs. He has previously worked on telco billing software, CDNs and a speech recognition product.

PXT DaaS is a internal serverless data platform built on top of AWS for data exchange between software and analytical teams in Amazon HR. We will discuss the challenges faced by the team during each step of this evolution and how we overcame them.
