Technology keeps moving faster - new tools, new trends, new expectations. In the middle of all that change, it’s easy to feel like we’re constantly updating ourselves just to keep up. But growth isn’t just about keeping up, it’s also about slowing down, reconnecting, and finding our rhythm.
This talk invites people in tech to hit pause and explore how we can thrive with innovation instead of being consumed by it. We’ll share practical ways to build balance, protect our energy, and find that “flow state” where creativity, focus, and well-being come together. Because as we code, design, and build the future, we also need to make space to grow the most important system we’ll ever work on - ourselves.

19:30 – ⚙️ Building Edge Appliances with RHEL Image Mode (bootc) and MicroShift
🎙 Arthur Oliveira - Senior Partner Technical Account Manager at Red Hat
Running Cloud Native workloads at Edge locations could be challenging, due compute resource restrictions and, eventually, also due strict regulations in place. Red Hat build of MicroShift brings an small enterprise grade single-node Kubernetes deployment in place while RHEL Image Mode (bootc) package all together, OS, K8s, Apps, Container Images, with an Standard OCI that could be deployed everywhere without internet connectivity. In this talk, I'll walk at high level through these different components and quickly demonstrate how we bootstrap very quickly our own appliances.
