Kubernetes in Springtime

Details

Our London meet-up is back this Spring! Join the Public Cloud Kubernetes London’s meet-up for all things public cloud and Kubernetes.

What can you expect?
Some Spring themed treats! Food. Drinks. K8s. Good Conversation.
There will be a few lightning talks followed by a general discussion with our presenters in a panel, and finish with food, refreshments and networking.

Talk 1: Building OSS Developer experiences for the cloud.
Salaboy (Mauricio Salatino) @ Diagrid

Bio: Companies can save a lot of time and money by relying on the cloud (and cloud providers). Still, building developer experiences that can work across cloud providers has proven to be complicated. This presentation focuses on leveraging the CNCF ecosystem and Kubernetes to build developer experience (and internal development platforms) to enable your teams to be more productive while relying on open-source tools. This presentation includes a live demo and the use of several CNCF projects.

Talk 2: Getting ready for the edge...
Mark Boost, CEO & Dinesh Majrekar, CTO @ Civo

Bio: We are entering a new paradigm with Cloud Computing, with a predicted move from a centralised cloud to "The Edge", but what exactly is the edge? What's the difference between "Near Edge" and "Far Edge" and why should you care are a Kubernetes engineer today?

Talk 3: Some like it hot - SLSA
Lewis Denham-Parry @ Chainguard
