Appvia have partnered with DTX to host our Autumn Meetup at their DTX London event on Wednesday 2nd October at the ExCeL London!

We'll be taking over the Cloud and Infrastructure Stage to talk all things cloud, infrastructure, kubernetes, washed down with pizza and drinks.

Run through what it takes to get set up for a Formula 1 Grand Prix, from physical track-side to the Cloud Infrastructure, enabling a seamless broadcast to millions of fans around the world.

Leading Cloud and DevOps innovation for the world's premier racing championship and AWS's flagship customer, from cloud-first adoption and sustainability initiatives to cutting-edge ML/Gen-AI chatbots prototypes, Ryan is no stranger to delivering world class solutions on the global stage.

5.00pm - Talk No. 2: "$hift L£ft" with Warren Ayling from Appvia

FinOps is gaining traction as a framework to better manage Cloud Costs. But why should it matter to you and your platform? This follows the DevOps "shift left" aspect but focuses on costs, what it means for engineers, and why it matters.

Warren has three decades in IT, having seen it mature into what it is today, many things are easier, but some things have got a lot trickier. Warren excels in simplifying the complex, having a depth and breadth of skills as a developer, infrastructure, DevOps engineer and architect through the full lifecycle (even decommissioning) deployment of AWS Public cloud services.
