TALK No.1: Intelligent Healthcare with IOT and Omics with Bidisha Chakraborty of PwC

The importance of Intelligent healthcare and its impact in our society is worth its weight in Gold. Pandemic has also taught us a lot about how important it is to be healthy than ever. Cloud services help us manage our health intelligently. With the use of IoT devices, we can explore a number of new opportunities for healthcare professionals to monitor patients, as well as for patients to monitor themselves. By extension, the variety of wearable IoT devices provide an array of benefits and challenges, for healthcare providers and their patients alike. If we couple this study with Omics then it helps healthcare and life science organisations build at-scale to store, query, and analyse genomic, transcriptomic, and other omics data.

Bidisha a Senior Cloud Architect in PwC. Her expertise involves in architecture designing and implementing end to end technical solution to complex business use cases considering well architect framework. Also expertised in two ways of communications - The business communication or non-technical communication with the business stakeholders, and the technical communication with the technical team, to implement the solutioning. Personally, she is also a dancer and a reader.

As an experienced conference speaker, independent cloud-native consultant, and trainer, Steve shares his expertise worldwide. He has held platform leadership roles across various industries, including real estate, gaming, fintech, and the UK Parliament. With a BSc in Computer Science, Steve is passionate about cloud-native software development and distributed computing.
