This panel will look at how AI is reshaping software development. We’ll cover the rise of “vibe coding”, the practical use of agentic AI for bug fixing, feature development, and the latest Cloud AI tooling from providers like AWS, Azure & Google. The discussion will focus on real-world changes in day-to-day coding, where AI genuinely helps (and where it falls short), and what this means for developers and tech teams today.

• Mark Hughes: Full-stack engineer and team leader with 20+ years’ experience in scalable solutions and engineering best practices
• Lewis Marshall: 29 years delivering platforms for the UK Home Office, London Stock Exchange, and more
