Post Quantum Cryptography
Presented by Ted Shorter,
Ted Shorter is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder at Keyfactor. Responsible for Keyfactor’s Intellectual Property development efforts. Ted has worked in the security arena for over 25 years, in the fields of cryptography, Public Key Infrastructure, authentication and authorization, and software vulnerability analysis.

Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) is vital due to the threat posed by quantum computers to traditional cryptographic algorithms. Quantum computing's potential to break current encryption methods necessitates the development of PQC algorithms resistant to quantum attacks. PQC ensures long-term security for sensitive data, requires a transition period for implementation, drives research and standardization efforts, and future-proofs systems against quantum threats. Its adoption is crucial for maintaining trust, privacy, and security in digital systems.
