Governing Agentic Work: An Open Architecture for AI Workforce Adoption

Summary of Presentation:
Moving beyond AI chatbots means trusting agents to build applications, reach internal systems, and run repeatable workflows. That trust cannot be granted with a long-lived API key. In this session, Johnnie Tabron draws on Cloudflare's own internal experience and the newly open-sourced Cloudflare OS architecture to show what it actually takes to put agents to work safely.

Attendees will see how organizational context and reusable skills keep agents aligned to established terminology, procedures, and standards, and how a conversation becomes an editable document, a connected application, and a mostly deterministic workflow. They will also learn why capability-based access beats handing credentials to agents and generated code. From there, the talk walks through the governance layer that constrains agent authority, controls where observed data moves, and preserves human accountability, before showing how every step gets centralized oversight and how agents finally ship as isolated, full-stack applications that any organization can deploy and customize in its own Cloudflare account.
