Grand Final of Sundar Challenge + Free Google Cloud Essentials Workshop

This meetup is a mix of 2 things! For one thing, it's the grand final of the Sundar challenge that have been going on for the last 2 months. And for another, it's a free self-paced workshop (aka Cloud Study Jam) called "Google Cloud Essentials". The workshop will take place in our Slack workspace, which you can join here: https://bit.ly/GDGCloudNbgSlack The Sundar challenge final will take place at the same time in this video call: https://meet.google.com/rar-cybx-jqq Everyone is encouraged to attend both events simultaneously.

--- THE WORKSHOP ---

We'll use the Qwiklabs learning platform to complete 5 labs.

The labs can be also completed after the online meetup. Everyone who completes all the labs will unlock the "Google Cloud Essentials" badge. More details about the quest "Google Cloud Essentials" can be found at https://google.qwiklabs.com/quests/23

Every participant of the online meetup will be provided a FREE Qwiklabs coupon code worth of $55, which will enable the access to the Qwiklabs learning platform for 1 month. After completion of the quest the free access will be prolonged by another 1 month.

Participants that are NEW to Qwiklabs or Google Cloud are encouraged to complete the FREE lab "A Tour of Qwiklabs and the Google Cloud Platform" BEFORE the beginning of the workshop: https://www.qwiklabs.com/focuses/2794?parent=catalog

Besides badges, we'll hand out digital "certificates of completion" to everyone who will complete the quest within 7 days after the beginning of the study jam! More about it in the follow up emails...

--- THE SUNDAR CHALLENGE ---

The Sundar Challenge encourages everyone to complete as many Qwiklabs quests as possible in the time from 30-April-2020 to 30-June-2020. The minimal amount of quests that needs to be completed to successfully participate in the challenge is 5! 10 people who will solve the most amount of quests will be awarded with special winner certificates. All eligible participants (5 solved quests or more) will receive from us certificates of completion!

Qwiklabs.com is a learning platform, where participants can practice and experiment with real cloud environments. The Google Cloud Developers group Nuremberg ("GDG Cloud Nuremberg") runs weekly free Cloud Study Jams. At study jams our members are receiving a free Qwiklabs 1 month subscription (can be extended by another free month), which allows the members to solve any amount of Qwiklabs labs and quests. Membership in the GDG Cloud Nuremberg group is free and available to everyone.
