Description:
Welcome to the AI meetup in Silicon Valley, in collaboration with Snowflake, Band AI. Join us for deep dive tech talks on AI, GenAI, LLMs and Agent, hands-on experiences on code labs, workshops, and networking with speakers and fellow developers.

Agenda:
- 5:30pm~6:00pm: Checkin, food and networking
- 6:00pm~6:10pm: Welcome, Community update
- 6:10pm~8:00pm: Tech talks and Q&A
- 8:00pm~8:30pm: Open discussion, Mixer and Closing.

Tech Talk: Trust the Coding Agent, Verify the Code
Speaker: Anupam Datta (Snowflake)
Abstract: Coding Agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex are becoming an integral part of how we build software systems. Their widespread adoption raises two related questions of trustworthiness.
- How do we evaluate, optimize, and secure coding agents?
- How do we reason about the correctness and performance of the code that they produce?
In this talk, we will describe our ongoing research at Snowflake that addresses these questions. We will discuss our work on the Agent GPA framework for agent evaluations, optimization with agent skills and evolutionary coding agents, an agent security blueprint, and an approach to specification-driven software development with coding agents. We will also discuss some of the open problems in this domain.

Tech Talk: Your Coding Agent Can’t Review Its Own Work
Speaker: Ofer Mendelevitch (Band AI)
Abstract: AI agents are becoming powerful individual systems - but collaboration between them remains fragmented. To work together effectively, agents need a shared communication layer: a foundation for exchanging context, establishing trust, and coordinating work. This talk introduces that broader vision of an Internet of Agents, powered by BAND, and shows how Codeband applies it to one concrete use case: coding-agent collaboration. Through adversarial cross-model review, multiple coding agents can challenge each other across planning, implementation, and PR review - surfacing hidden assumptions before code ships.
