Details

Windows 10 is the latest desktop/PC operating system built by Microsoft. Way back in 1995 the Windows 95 platform changed forever how business would use technology to solve business problems. I don’t know if you remember or have a co-worker who like me, has been around the Microsoft Eco-system since 1993, but the best thing about the Windows platform was multi-tasking. Jump forward to 2008 when the new "windows" became the best way to multi-task was more monitors! As the LCD movement completed the change from 200 pound CRT's to multi-monitor set ups become the norm. I had 4 monitors at one time and had many many people ask why? Now we ask why not more than 8? So, back to Windows 10 - This is my opinion is the most critical release Microsoft has done since 95. Why? Think about a common and familiar interface across every device you own, pretty amazing. I come from the era of mainframes and green screens so the fact that my desktop like my old green screens are the same across my PC, my laptop (A Yoga which I love), my tablet, my 2in1, phablet, my gaming system and my smartphone. WOW! OK one more thing, the Windows 10 enterprise version will forever make it clear Microsoft owns the user experience and if you haven't tried the new experience you are missing out just like a bunch of my friends back in 1994 when I introduced them to a little known email program called Exchange. (Exchange 4.0) Well, 1 word and 3 numbers Office365.
