What we're about
Cloudheads is an active community of technologists interested in SRE, DevOps, AI/ML, Platform engineering, and/or Cloud. We are committed to showcasing experts from underrepresented groups in technology, including but not limited to women, non-binary people, disabled people, neurodiverse people, indigenous people, and culturally and racially marginalised (CARM) people.
We currently operate in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia’s two largest technology hubs.
Who is Cloudheads for?
Our community is for people of all genders that share our vision who are also

- curious about technology careers.
You might be completely new to the industry or experienced; all levels are welcome.
Why is your focus on DEI in cloud, DevOps, platform, AI, and SRE?
Because those areas are specialised, influential to the whole tech industry, and tend to be even less diverse than more general areas like software engineering.

When are your events?
We are trialling having meetups on the first Thursday of each month, alternating between Melbourne and Sydney. There may be additional online or in person activities in future.
