What we’re about

Hey đź‘‹ I'm Sydney Lai, I'm a developer advocate and my goal is to create a space for devs and techies to learn about emerging tech and upcoming dev build practices.

About GDG Brooklyn
Are you a developer in Brooklyn looking to ignite your passion for coding and join a vibrant community of like-minded individuals? Google Developer Group (1,000 chapters across 140 countries) is a volunteer-run group and offers engaging technical workshops on various tech stacks, including demos and API integrations. Here at the Greenpoint location, we have a special focus on emerging development practices such as blockchain, AI, and game development. Join us to connect with fellow developers, expand your skills, and be a part of an innovative community shaping the future of technology in Brooklyn.

Our events can vary from featured Tech Talks (40 mins or more) to Short Talks (20 mins), Lightning Talks (5 mins) as well as focused events (workshops, hackathons, study jams) and happy hours.

CODE OF CONDUCT
All members of the Google Developer Group (NYC) are expected to adhere to our Code of Conduct. Simply put: "Be Excellent to each other". Harassment of any kind (physical, verbal, digital) will not be tolerated and will lead to expulsion from events, or even from the community.
