Medicinal Plants Workshop

Participants in the Buddhism and Plants workshop will learn about select central Buddhist teachings through the lens of our inseparable connections with nature. We will focus on the Bodhi tree’s cultural importance as well as the Cedar tree, sacred tree to the Anishinaabe People. Participants will be provided with hands-on activities, including with Stinging Nettles - a plant valued for its utility, nutritional and medicinal properties.
