⭐️SECURELY MANAGE YOUR AZURE ENVIRONMENT LIKE A TRUE CLOUD JEDI
Security is a core part of everything, not just in Azure. Where Azure obviously is built with security in mind, it takes a bit more of a design effort to really get your workloads running 100% secure. We are going to talk about the security aspects of different technologies and services. If identity becomes the new security perimeter instead of the network, then great focus must be given to that identity. That's exactly what this session focuses on: learning how to architect and deploy for security of your Identity, Azure IaaS and PaaS workloads. Starting with Managed Identities and Azure Network security, Wim and Karel will jump over to PaaS services like Azure Key Vault and Microsoft Defender for Cloud to protect your Azure environment. By the end of the session, you will have learned about multiple dimensions to achieve various levels of security and how you can increase it for running your business-critical workloads in Azure!

His core areas of expertise are Microsoft Azure and the Microsoft Hybrid Cloud Platform.
As a technology enthusiast and a community member, he frequently shares his knowledge about experiences with Azure and other Microsoft technologies. Additionally, Karel is also a board member of the TechNine IT Pro user group.

Wim is an Azure Technical Advisor, who has more than fifteen years of experience with Microsoft Technologies. As a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), his strength is to assist companies in the transformation of their business to the Cloud by implementing the latest features, services and solutions. Currently, his main focus is on the Microsoft Hybrid Cloud Platform and especially on Microsoft Azure and the Azure hybrid services.
Wim is also a Microsoft MVP in the Azure category and a founding board member of the MC2MC user group.
As a passionate community member, he regularly writes blogs and speaks about his daily experiences with Azure and other Microsoft technologies.
