SPEAKER #1: Alan Parry, Director of Engineering at YellowDog
His Topic - A Bristolian history of cloud told through the medium of film

Alan leads engineering at YellowDog, a bold new high growth, multi-cloud service provider based in the UK offering access to limitless computing power. YellowDog began by addressing the needs of the 3D and VFX industry, but aren't stopping there. Alan is a senior research and development director with over 20 years’ experience in technology research and development. For 8 years he led HP Labs’ Advanced Development Team, defining R&D strategy and providing a central function for skills, processes and tools in pursuit of new product development. He is passionate and motivated by technology with the potential to deliver large societal impact.

SPEAKER #2: Craig J. Bass, Technical Lead at Made Tech
His Topic: Can we learn anything from TDD in the cloud-infrastructure world?

Made Tech are public sector technology delivery experts who offer an outcome-based delivery model to a variety of pioneering organisations across the UK. They come from a background of supporting start-ups get to market faster so know how to ship software quickly! Craig has been with Made Tech since 2016 and is a polyglot lead engineer, agile coach and learning advocate. He'll be talking to us about the philosophy of TDD as it relates to infrastructure-as-code.

SPEAKER #3: Ryan Perry, Software Engineer at ADP
His Topic: Consumer-Driven Mishaps

Ryan is an enthusiastic, sociable, and multi-skilled software engineer with a passion for behaviour and test-driven development. He graduated from the University of Plymouth with a First Class BSc in Computer Science and is now focusing on app development at ADP in Bristol. Ryan will be talking to us about the ups and downs of adopting a Consumer-Driven contract pattern for testing micro-services in isolation from each other.
