Join us this Saturday for a feel-good way to get outside, meet other remote workers, and give back to Charlotte đŸŒ±

We’ll be joining the South End Social Earth Day Rail Trail Cleanup—a larger community event where volunteers help clean up the Rail Trail and surrounding areas.
peek at the last cleanup!

How it works:

  • Check-in/registration happens anytime between 10–11am at the New Bern Light Rail Station
  • After that, you’ll head out in small groups and walk the Rail Trail at your own pace, picking up trash along the way
  • The cleanup runs until 12pm, and naturally ends near Wooden Robot Brewery for a Volunteer Appreciation Social đŸ»

This is a casual, drop-in style meetup—not a structured, stay-together-the-whole-time event. People will spread out along the trail, so come say hi when you arrive and we’ll connect as we go!

I’ll be there participating (and grabbing some content), but just know I may not be with the group the entire time!

How to find us:
Look for the main event check-in table near the tracks outside CatalĂș / New Bern Light Rail Station—this is where everyone will be registering between 10–11am.
This isn’t a traditional meetup with a set gathering spot or signage. Once you check in, you’ll head out along the Rail Trail in small groups at your own pace.
If you’d like to connect, feel free to message in the chat or keep an eye out along the trail—we’ll likely cross paths throughout the cleanup or at the after-party at Wooden Robot.

Perks:

  • All cleanup supplies provided
  • Family + dog friendly đŸ¶
  • Volunteers 21+ get a free drink ticket + raffle entry at the after-party

What to bring:

  • Comfortable clothes/shoes
  • Water
  • Gloves (optional, supplies are provided)

👉 RSVP: here!
Come for a bit or stay the whole time—either way, it’s an easy way to meet people and do something good for the city.
