Frontier Tech - The Wave Of The Future

There are always little waves going on in tech, but roughly every ten years there is a transformative wave. The PC in the 1980s, the internet in the 1990s, and the smartphone in the 2000s. The next big wave will be created by frontier tech: a combination of automation technologies (AI, robotics) and experiential technologies (VR, AR, neurotech) - and it will be the biggest wave we’ve ever seen. At Loup Ventures, we’re investing in the startups making the next big wave a reality.

About The Speaker

Andrew Murphy is a managing partner and co-founder at Loup Ventures.
Prior to Loup Ventures, Andrew was a senior marketing manager in
Ecolab’s Healthcare division. Prior to joining Ecolab in 2012, Andrew spent
5 years at Piper Jaffray where he covered the Digital Media space with
Gene Munster. Covered companies included Apple, Netflix and Adobe.
Andrew holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Colgate University
and a master’s degree in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary.

What is Club Entreprenuer?

Club Entrepreneur is a community of business professionals who meet each month for networking, idea sharing and presentations from some of the country’s most respected innovators, catalysts and thought leaders.
During each lunch-hour session, you’ll have a chance to enjoy a meal, chat with peers and strengthen your network of personal and professional relationships.

There will be a speaker presentation on an informative topic that provides practical, actionable ideas.
