Buddhist Mindful Meditation Group - All are Welcome
Details
This fun, beginner friendly group practices primarily in the beautiful tradition of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh. We cultivate mindfulness, compassion, joy, and peace together in our vibrant community. Each session is on a new theme and includes meditation, teaching, and sharing. Our Sangha Stewards take turns facilitating meetings and each brings a unique style filled with kindness, compassion and heart.
Make friends, come home to your true nature, connect with people, and grow peace in your heart and in the world.
This week, we’ll explore a Buddhist adaptation of an exercise that helps us connect with the aspects of our personality. Through a short talk, guided meditation, quiet reflection, and group discussion, we’ll listen to our body, feelings, mind, and heart as a way to practice mindfulness and loving-kindness toward ourselves. The session offers a gentle way to understand how these parts support one another together in daily life. Dave Meader
