Title: Feature Mapping Model – from user stories to automation acceptance tests

Topic Description:

One of the beneficial consequences of the rise of Agile software development is the notion of splitting up large sets of requirements into small pieces. Building a product story by story has some negative consequences and one of these is losing the big picture of what a software system should do.

Feature Mapping technique was invented by Jeff Patton, that can help teams write higher quality automated acceptance criteria more easily and to visualize the user stories at the big picture. Feature mapping is an engaging activity where all participants are involved in the process of building the product backlog.
