Topic: IoT and Cosmos Db

We will explore Cosmos Db which is schema-less data storage. This includes exploring BSON document format and the MongoDb APIs. We will store, query and aggregate data using Python and C# .NET. We will compare traditional relational entity modeling to document modeling.

I will demonstrate a Windows 10 IoT Core device collecting gyroscopic and acceleration data and sending to Azure IoT Hub. An Azure function will store the data in Cosmos Db from service bus. I will show code that transmits messages to the hub and an Azure function that stores the data into CosmosDb.
