Project Night

Details
The CNC Club is a weekly meeting of Chicago area people passionate about learning, building and using digital fabrication equipment. It is held at the Pumping Station One (http://www.pumpingstationone.org/) Hackerspace. It is open to non members. We also have a Google Group called CNC Build Club. (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/cnc-build-club)
Each week we talk about, build, train on and use CNC machines. We have 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers and vinyl cutters. Come out and join the fun.
Last week we built a very interesting drawing bot. You can read more about it here. (http://pumpingstationone.org/2013/06/cnc-gonzo-build-2-recap/) This week we are going to connect it to a LinuxCNC controller, to get better performance out of it. We are also going to setup a small CNC router.
Come out and join us. We will have all the machines running. We can demo and teach how to use them.
Please RSVP, but don't pay attention to the attendee count. We usually get 10 times the count reported by Meetup.
