With the temperatures lowering it's time to get cozy in front of the campfire and share some cloud native stories - some horrific, some heroic, but all epic. It's time for the Cloud Native Autumn Season 🎃☁️🍂💀

🐋 TALK #1: Comfortable at Uncomfortable Scale

What feels elegant with a handful of clusters becomes murky when you’re running tens of thousands of cloud resources and a sea of workloads. In this talk I’ll share a control‑room view of building and operating a multi‑tenant Platform on Azure and Kubernetes. What actually shifts as scale hits: emerging bottlenecks, keeping costs sane, upgrading safely, giving teams autonomy, and still sleeping at night.

Expect candid stories and a clearer sense of what’s waiting beyond your next order of magnitude.

Sergen is a Software Engineer at Blue Yonder and a KIT alum. He works on the internal self‑service layer that flattens cloud and Kubernetes complexity into clean APIs. He drives automation maturity, ownership clarity, and fiscal efficiency, aiming for pleasantly uneventful ops.

🫵 TALK #2: How YOU can help expand the observable universe

A session focused on native instrumentation and how your contributions can significantly broaden the horizons of what we can observe and understand in our systems.

Severin Neumann is member of the OpenTelemetry Governance Committee, and head of community and developer relations at Causely
