About the Topic

Join us as we discuss making the transition from corporate life to entrepreneurship with Lorette Pruden, PhD, a chemical engineer turned Business Coach and Advisor. Lorette shares insights and advice from her own transition and her work with her clients, including how to avoid common mistakes, how to leverage a virtual organization and why it takes a different mindset to win as a business owner.

Working at the intersection of business and people processes, Lorette has helped hundreds of small business owners and start-up entrepreneurs. Many of those clients turned from the corporate world to build businesses of their own.

About the Speaker

Lorette is a Princeton chemical engineer-turned-entrepreneur. After leaving Mobil in 2000, she founded Inventive Strategies, an executive coaching firm, and coaches budding entrepreneurs with the team at Entrepreneurs University. At TeamNimbusNJ.com, Lorette helps small business owners grow, and manage that growth. Using facilitated mastermind teams, workshops, seminars, and individual coaching and strategic planning, we help business owners create the business and the life that they want. Lorette speaks, consults, and writes on the transition from working for others to building a successful business. With her latest book, Formerly Corporate, she lays out the path for the erstwhile employee to become a successful business owner. She can be reached at (609) 915-0817 or at lpruden@inv-strat.com.
